Exciting things today! We get cable!!! Woooo!! It really hasn’t been that bad; we’ve made do. But it will be nice to have some background noise or watch the Today Show or The Bachelorette, of course. It will also be nice to not have to use my phone’s HotSpot for WiFi. What have we been doing each night after dinner?? Movies. We’ve watched 21 Jump Street, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Safe House, and Shooter. Tuesday night we even went super Griswolds newlyweds and watched tv in Starbucks. It was quite funny. You see, every week I watch The Bachelorette. It’s my one show, and yes I do see that it is immoral and I would never instruct someone to find love that way. However, it does make for good tv. Tuesday night, we drove around LaGrange trying to figure out how to get places, and then stopped at Starbucks for a decaf skinny vanilla latte, half-off blueberry muffin, and free WiFi. Don’t believe me??
We did look pretty funny in our headphones sitting in the corner. During commercial breaks we would talk about what was going on and who we thought she was going to kick off. (Thank goodness it was Chris. It’s about time!) The Starbucks ladies even got into the drama with us when they figured out what we were watching. They told Josh he got major “husband points,” which puffed his chest out a little bit.
