Weekend Update: Peanuts and Cornhole

Since my freshman year of college, I have wanted to go to the National Peanut Festival in Dothan, Ala. However, because of the Ole Miss game (most years), I always ended up missing it. NOT. THIS. YEAR. That’s right. I went to the Peanut Festival Saturday and had a blast eating homemade corn dogs and fried Oreo’s, riding less-than-trustworthy fair rides, and looking at all the prize-winning goodies. To top it all off, I got to experience it with my best friend and Dothan’s finest, Elizabeth Batte.

Sunday after church, Josh and I participated in The Young Life of Lagrange Corn Hole Tournament. As much as we wanted to be the champions- and win $300- we weren’t that lucky. We still had a great time, got some cool t-shirts, and supported a great program.

As always, our weekend wouldn’t be complete without a side of puppy love.

Happy Monday, friends! I hope this week is full of cuddling, warmth, and fun for you!
