Holy Sweetness. I’m Crying on the Treadmill

It’s pretty rare that I cry. Excluding engagement (hey, it was a lot of change and a lot of excitement, so I get to exclude that part), I really don’t cry. Occasionally, however, The Today Show gets me. My morning routine includes the gym with The Today Show on. It’s my way of being alone, getting my exercise on, and staying informed all at the same time. What a multi-tasker, right? Anyways, yesterday morning while I was on the treadmill, I had the opportunity to watch this touching story. I’m telling you, had there not been another sweet lady in the exercise room I would’ve been a babbling mess on a human. Please watch this video and be encouraged. It really spoke to me on how powerful our attitudes can be. I don’t want to ruin the video for you, but this man overcame so much with such a positive attitude. He woke up each morning saying what a beautiful day it is! I want that attitude of thanksgiving. This video shows me how much I have to be thankful for, and how powerful my attitude, words, and gestures can be. Please. Be inspired.

14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. 17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
